Job summary

dtcpay, a MAS-licensed payment service provider, seeks an Application/Production Support Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur. You will be the first contact for production incidents, triaging issues by logs, API requests, and database records, and coordinating with engineering for timely resolutions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software development or production support, strong SQL, REST API familiarity, and English & Mandarin proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Software Development, Application Support, or Production Support.
Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple issues.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for production incidents, system alerts, and technical support requests.
Perform initial issue triage by analyzing logs, API requests, and database records.
Gather information, coordinate with the engineering team, and drive incident resolution.
Monitor third-party service status and incident notices; inform stakeholders.
Analyze production data to support operational requests and investigations.
Maintain incident records, runbooks, and ownership information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production support processes.
This role does not involve routine product feature development.
