Job summary

PPG is seeking a Production Planner to work onsite at PPG Petaling Jaya. You will report to the Production Planning Manager and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include analyzing orders, creating production plans, coordinating with procurement for materials, and monitoring schedules to avoid stockouts. The role emphasizes compliance with ISO and EHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in any relevant field.
• At least 1 year of working experience.
• Experience in chemical industry preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Oracle knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders and forecast trends.
• Plan and schedule production to meet delivery dates.
• Material planning for daily manufacturing needs.
• Coordinate with Raw Material Planners and procurement for materials.
• Generate Batch Cards and coordinate planning workflow.
• Monitor schedules to meet outputs and timelines.
• Track usage of finished goods and materials to avoid stockouts.
• Cross-functional collaboration with CS, Sales, QA, Ops.
• Support NPIs, trials, and color matchings.
