Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize test solutions for wireless products, including 5G and future 6G NPI.

You will own ER, modernize test platforms, and drive digitalization with cross-functional teams and CM partners to ensure readiness, qualification, and excellence. The role emphasizes productivity, quality, and continuous improvement through automation, data analytics, and robust technical leadership in a high-velocity manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years in Manufacturing Test & Software Engineering.
• Experience in NPI, product transfer, testing development, and test system validation.
• Strong knowledge of wireless products, RF testing, and automated test systems.
• Experience with manufacturing test software, automation tools, and test equipment integration.
• Familiarity with test platform modernization, digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing test activities for NPI or product transfer with ramp-up into production.
• Architect and drive digitalization integrating data, automation, analytics, and systems.
• Lead test equipment modernization and platform upgrades for capability and capacity.
• Collaborate with R&D/NPI, Product Engineering, Quality, IT, CM partners on activities.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve yield and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation, validation reports, and status updates.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing test activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) or product transfer, ensuring test readiness, qualification, and successful ramp-up into production.
• Architect and drive digitalization initiatives by integrating manufacturing data, automation, analytics, and operational systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Lead test equipment modernization, test platform upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing station capability and capacity.
• Collaborate with R&D/NPI , Product Engineering, Quality, IT, and Contract Manufacturing partners to ensure successful execution of NPI, product transfer, and sustaining engineering activities.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions to improve test station performance, yield and manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, validation reports, engineering specifications, work instructions, and project status updates to support manufacturing operations and product lifecycle management.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns by providing technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and best practices in manufacturing test engineering and digitalization solutions.
• Support department or site-wide initiatives focused on operational excellence and manufacturing innovation.

• Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Manufacturing Test & Software Engineering.
• Experience in NPI, product transfer, manufacturing test development, and test system validation.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communication products, RF testing, and automated test systems.
• Experience with manufacturing test software, automation tools, and test equipment integration.
• Familiarity with test platform modernization, digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in resolving issues related to test software, test processes, equipment, and production test stations.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners.
• Good project management, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading test-related activities for NPI and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Experience in data analytics, manufacturing automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
