Aleph Labs in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Design & Engineering Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery across design and engineering for Japan-market projects. You will partner with clients, UX researchers, product strategists, designers, and engineers to ensure high quality, on time, within budget, while creating meaningful user experiences and robust technical solutions.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor's in Design/CS/Engineering, 5+ years of managing digital projects, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years managing digital projects across design and engineering.
• Experience in design agencies, digital consultancies, or product teams.
• Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) mandatory.
• Experience with Japan-market projects and cultural nuances preferred.
• Proficient in UX methods, design thinking, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery across design and engineering engagements.
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, and resources.
• Coordinate UX/UI designers, researchers, strategists, and engineers.
• Facilitate workshops, reviews, and executive discussions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research and productivity.
• Improve playbooks and standardize delivery processes.
