Job summary

Farben Information Technology is hiring on behalf of a technology and operations solutions company to manage asset and inventory in fast-paced data center environments across Malaysia. The role supports day-to-day warehouse, logistics, and lifecycle operations for servers and network equipment.

You will handle receiving, sorting, and recording inventory, coordinate with suppliers, perform stock takes, and respond to discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher educational qualification.
• Proficient in Mandarin.
• Full working rights for Malaysia; no visa sponsorship.
• Experience in warehouse management or IDC/Data Center operations preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and equipment, inspect and register inventory.
• Perform order picking, sorting, and outbound shipment prep.
• Organize and store inventory to maximize space and retrieval efficiency.
• Maintain inventory records, logs, and warehouse systems.
• Manage equipment lifecycle, maintenance coordination, depreciation tracking, and decommissioning.
• Handle RMA processes, including returns and repair coordination.
• Support inventory audits and stocktaking, reconciling discrepancies.
• Coordinate with logistics providers and suppliers for smooth operations.
• Monitor asset incidents and report discrepancies between physical and system/financial records.
• Locations: Johor or Kuala Lumpur; fully onsite.
