Job summary

Avanade is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to sit inside client environments from week one, turning business ambition into production reality. You will lead the build in Studios, configure products for client environments, and work with stakeholders to shape value-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes deciding what to build, challenging assumptions, and delivering prototypes through to live deployment in constrained client settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software or AI engineering with production systems.
• Strong practical command of Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI.
• Full-stack capability — frontend, APIs, data, and agent orchestration.
• Experience building and evaluating agentic systems, including retrieval and tool use.
• Comfortable in client environments with high autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Help clients decide what should be built and challenge assumptions.
• Lead the work through to live deployment in client environments.
• Work in small expert teams directing agent networks.
