Job summary

Strato Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a GIS QA/QC specialist to ensure onshore, topographic, and land survey data meet high quality and accuracy standards. You will perform quality checks before and after loading spatial data into the Master Geodatabase, applying industry best practices to safeguard data integrity.

The role requires hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap, spatial databases, and familiarity with Oil & Gas project contexts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years cumulative experience in onshore GIS surveying.
Minimum 2 years QA/QC experience with spatial data using ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap.
Experience with spatial databases (SDE/Geodatabase, MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
Participation in at least one onshore or land survey campaign with details.

Responsibilities

Perform Quality Check and QA of E&P spatial data before and after loading into Master Geodatabase.
Apply industry best practices to ensure GIS data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
Collaborate with survey teams to validate data completeness and correctness.
Maintain documentation of QA processes and results.
