Job summary

Nomupay is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join the Kuala Lumpur-based Operations team. You will act as the bridge between Sales, Risk and Operations to onboard merchants quickly, accurately and with a superior customer experience.

You’ll manage the onboarding journey, coordinate with multiple teams, review documentation, and build strong relationships while maintaining accurate Salesforce records. Hybrid work is offered in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in merchant onboarding, sales support, sales operations, or client onboarding.
• Experience with payments/fintech/banking SaaS or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end merchant onboarding for new merchants submitted by Sales.
• Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Compliance and Ops to progress applications.
• Review onboarding docs and support KYC requirements.
• Keep merchants and stakeholders informed throughout onboarding.

In this role,you'llact as the bridge between ourSales, Risk, and Operationsteams, ensuring new merchants are onboarded quickly, accurately, and with an exceptional customer experience. What You'll Be Doing

Merchant Onboarding

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding journey for new merchantssubmittedby the Sales team.
• Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to ensure applications progress smoothly.
• Review onboarding documentation and support KYC requirements.
• Keep merchants and internal stakeholders informed throughout the onboarding process.

Sales & Operational Support

• Maintainaccuratemerchant records and workflows within Salesforce.
• Prepare merchant agreements, pricing documentation, and onboarding paperwork.
• Assistwith reporting, onboarding metrics, and operational updates.
• Support client meetings whererequiredand build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Process Improvement

• Identifyopportunities to improve onboarding processes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure all activities are completed in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Work collaboratively across teams to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.

Your profile

You'llideally have:

• Previousexperience inmerchant onboarding, sales support, sales operations, or client onboarding.
• Experience working withinpayments, fintech, banking, SaaS, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of KYC and onboarding documentation.
• Experience usingSalesforce CRM.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive,solutions-focused mindset and great attention to detail.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within merchantacquiringor payment processing.
• Exposure to regulated financial environments.
• Ability to build relationships with merchants and internal teams.
• Additionallanguage skills are highly desirable, particularly:
  • Mandarin
  • Cantonese
  • Malay
  • Thai
