Job summary

GOOD GEAR SOLUTION (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Valves Maintenance Technician in Pasir Gudang, Johor, to join our on-site team and ensure valve systems operate at peak efficiency.

This full-time role requires performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, disassembling and repairing valves, and maintaining detailed records while collaborating with the maintenance team. You will work on-site, follow health and safety regulations, and contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably with valve systems or fluid control equipment.
• Strong understanding of valve types, operations, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on valve systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot valve malfunctions; identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble valves per manufacturer specs and drawings.
• Test valves to meet performance standards and safety requirements.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records.
• Replace worn components as needed and coordinate repairs with the team.
