Job summary

Johnson Controls in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer to lead on-site security and ELV project deployments, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

You will prepare documentation, track progress, and ensure quality and safety standards, with opportunities to travel nationwide and grow with a global leader in building technologies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years working experience in Construction or Building Technologies Industries; project management in Security System or ELV is helpful.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site project leader to plan, implement, and complete assigned projects.
• Coordinate communication with customers and subcontractors during all phases of the project.
• Prepare project documentation such as weekly or monthly reports, Project Plan, Technical Documents, Material Submissions, drawings and OMM.
• Manage/Monitor/Track project and control cost to ensure on-time completion within budget and safety standards.
• Hand over to service team upon successful completion of project.
