Job summary

Southmax Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to oversee HSE across project sites in Johor. You will implement and monitor safety programmes, identify hazards and ensure DOSH/JKKP compliance, working closely with project teams and subcontractors.

This hands-on, site-based role requires strong safety mindset, good communication, and the ability to manage safety across construction and M&E activities in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in OSH or related field.
• Valid DOSH/JKKP Site Safety Supervisor competency (Yellow Book).
• 1–2 years of hands-on safety experience on active sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections, patrols and audits.
• Monitor PPE use and safety equipment; correct unsafe acts.
• Prepare safety reports, JSA and SWP documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and workers on safety.
• Manage Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and control measures.
