Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee day-to-day occupational safety and health compliance at the project site in Kuala Lumpur. The role ensures adherence to DOSH regulations and project safety plans, supporting the Project Manager and Safety & Health Officer.

Responsibilities include site inspections, non-conformance management, permit-to-work administration, and enforcing PPE and housekeeping standards among workers and visitors.

Qualifications

• Registered Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) or eligible to register with DOSH.
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, engineering, building or related field.
• Basic IT skills: MS Word/Excel and email; report keeping.

Responsibilities

• Act as the DOSH-registered Site Safety Supervisor for the project.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and issue non-conformance notices.
• Ensure works follow approved method statements and Safety Plan.
• Administer permit-to-work for high-risk activities.
• Stop unsafe acts and enforce safety rules on site.
• Verify certificates and training of equipment/ personnel.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and briefings.
