Job summary

West River Engineering in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety and health at our construction sites, ensuring compliance with DOSH and related regulations.

You will conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and inductions, perform site inspections, and investigate accidents, proposing corrective actions and coordinating with authorities and clients to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Yellow book holder certified by DOSH/JKKP
• 2+ years' experience as Site Safety Supervisor or similar in construction
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations in construction

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety & health at construction sites
• Coordinate and conduct safety audits and inspections
• Investigate accidents/incidents and propose corrective actions
• Liaise with authorities/clients on safety issues
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, inductions and site meetings
• Inspect safety equipment and ensure sufficiency for site personnel
• Manage documentation to comply with DOSH/DOE/BOMBA regulations
• Any other duties as assigned
