Job summary
Guppy Plastic Industries in Melaka is seeking a Technical Engineer for a full-time on-site role. You will support daily production, monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities include process optimization, engineering changes, quality control, and documenting technical activities. You will engage with production, quality, and management to drive manufacturing efficiency and safety, contributing to continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor or diploma level engineering knowledge with practical experience
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and coordinating repairs
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar improvement approaches
- Ability to document specifications, inspections and corrective actions
- Proficient in technical documentation and basic engineering software
Responsibilities
- Monitor equipment performance during daily production
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate maintenance activities
- Assist in process optimization and implement engineering changes
- Support quality control to meet specifications and regulatory standards
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with production, quality and management to improve efficiency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and safety practices
