Job summary

Jora Malaysia is looking for a site supervisor to oversee M&E works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs and contract requirements. You will perform regular inspections, report non-conformances, witness testing and coordinate with stakeholders.

The role requires a diploma or certificate in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering, 3–5 years of site supervision experience, and BEM registration. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services engineering.
• 3–5 years of site supervision experience for M&E works.
• Good knowledge of M&E installation, testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements, Malaysian Standards and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
• Willing to travel or be based at project sites as required.
• Must be registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor M&E works at site to ensure compliance with drawings and contract requirements.
• Carry out regular site inspections and report non-conformance to the Resident Engineer and project team.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities for M&E systems.
• Verify materials, workmanship and installation methods per project specs and standards.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works follow approved schedules.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and coordination meetings as required.
• Prepare inspection reports, site records and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and clients on site matters.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and statutory regulations.
