Job summary

Fagron Tech is seeking an On-Site IT Support Specialist in Kuala Lumpur to provide reliable day-to-day IT support and maintain the local technology environment. You will be the main contact for local IT matters, handling end-user support, device management, and coordination with external suppliers to ensure services meet Fagron's standards.

You will contribute to infrastructure monitoring and improvement initiatives while collaborating with global IT teams on projects.

Qualifications

Advanced to fluent English
Between two and five years of relevant professional experience
An educational background in IT or a related field would be considered an advantage

Responsibilities

Provide responsive, hands-on IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, minimizing disruption to daily operations.
Log, track, and manage support requests through the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, keeping users informed of progress and expected resolution times.
Identify recurring issues and contribute standardized solutions to the IT knowledge base, helping ensure consistent and scalable support.
Escalate complex incidents to the appropriate teams when required, while maintaining ownership of the user experience through to resolution.
Serve as the main local point of contact for external IT suppliers, coordinating their activities and following up to ensure services are delivered according to standards and timelines.
