Job summary

FrameMotion Studio Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Experiential Programmer to design, build, and deploy interactive and immersive experiences. You will work at the intersection of software, hardware and creative technology to develop real-time applications and installations on-site.

This role involves on-site installations, AR/VR development, sensors and devices integration, and collaboration with designers. Training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interactive Media, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Arduino or ESP32, Unity3D, Unreal Engine, and TouchDesigner.
• Familiarity with C#, C++, or Python is an advantage.
• Passion for interactive technology, hardware, and creative development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to travel for project installations.

Responsibilities

• Handle on-site installation and commissioning, and standby during events.
• Develop interactive applications using Unity3D, Unreal Engine, and TouchDesigner.
• Program embedded systems using Arduino, ESP32, and related hardware.
• Integrate sensors, RFID/NFC, cameras, touchscreens, LEDs and other devices.
• Develop AR/VR and real-time interactive experiences.
• Test, debug, optimize, and deploy interactive systems.
• Collaborate with designers and project teams to create immersive experiences.
• Research and prototype new interactive technologies.
