Job summary

Experian is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist/Contract System Engineer to support project teams by resolving security challenges and guiding risk-based security decisions. You will report to the Security Operations Manager and collaborate across departments to ensure secure project delivery.

Responsibilities include identifying security issues, implementing practical solutions, and maintaining awareness of threats and mitigations relevant to the project environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in information security across UNIX, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS, incident response, vulnerability testing and OS hardening.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO27001, NIST and related security standards.

Responsibilities

• Resolve security issues to unblock project activities and milestones.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement practical, risk-based security solutions.
• Provide guidance on security best practices and organizational policies.
