Job summary

Experian in Malaysia seeks a Cyber Security Analyst (Contract) to support project teams by resolving security issues and implementing risk-based solutions. You will report to the Security Operations Manager and collaborate with stakeholders to balance security with operational needs.

The role requires 3+ years of multi-OS security experience, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and incident response, with knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO, and ISM standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in information security across UNIX, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and incident response.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, ISO/ISM standards and identity management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project milestones by resolving security-related technical challenges.
• Identify security issues that arise during project execution and propose risk-based solutions.
• Provide guidance on security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors during tenders and audits to ensure IT security compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of latest threats and mitigation strategies relevant to the project environment.
