Job summary

Experian Asia Pacific is hiring a Cyber Security Specialist in Cyberjaya. You will support project teams by resolving security issues and enabling milestones, reporting to the Security Operations Manager. You will identify security risks and implement practical controls to protect transactional assets.

You will collaborate across functions, advise on best practices, and stay current on threats and mitigations to safeguard client data and systems.

Qualifications

• At least three years of information security experience across UNIX, Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience assessing and managing information security risks, including vulnerability testing and incident response.
• Experience designing security architecture and technologies for transactional websites with multiple controls.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and NIST security standards with ongoing monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to resolve security-related technical challenges and unblock milestones.
• Identify security issues that arise during project execution and provide remediation guidance.
• Develop and implement practical, risk-based security solutions to support project needs.
• Provide advice on security best practices and ensure alignment with organizational policies.
• Work with partners to balance security requirements with operational and project needs.
• Maintain knowledge of latest threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies relevant to the environment.
