Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia is seeking a Compliance Officer to manage customs compliance activities and engage with customs authorities. This role supports REWS/FOH transaction volumes and introduces new i-start processes to streamline imports.

You will coordinate with vendors and the customs agent, ensure timely submission of required documents, and lead the front-end i-Start process with warehouse teams to ensure prompt GR closure.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with vendors and customs agents.
• Familiarity with change control processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendor to provide required documents for submission and faster approval.
• Coordinate with custom agent to fast-track approvals, especially for exceptional purchases.
• Coordinate with operation and procurement to implement change controls and communicate requirements.
• Lead front-end i-Start process and ensure timely entry of material supply invoices.
