Lockout Group is seeking an OHS Technical Specialist to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves working with sales to tailor offerings, visiting factories to identify hazards, and proposing customized safety solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.

The candidate should have an OHS qualification with 2–3 years in OHS sales or safety consulting, strong presentation skills, and be willing to conduct site visits. Driving license and own transport are advantageous.

We are seeking an individual with experience and knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health to join our team as a OHS TechnicalSpecialist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure product and course offerings meet market needs and regulatory updates.
• Visit client sites (factories) to identify safety hazards, compliance gaps, and risks.
• Conduct client needs assessments; propose customized training packages and technical safety solutions aligned with site-specific risks and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct product demos, webinars, or presentations detailing the value of regulatory compliance and accident prevention
• Present OHS solutions and product applications to clients.
• Prepare technical reports, findings and corrective action recommendations.
• Develop Safe Work Procedures, checklists, inspection forms and OHS documentation.
• Support the Marketing Team in safety programs , awareness campaigns, seminars and product demonstrations.
• Keep abreast of products, technologies, and safety trends; recommend enhancements to the company’s portfolio.
• Prepare formal proposals, pricing quotations, and contract terms

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in OHS sales, technical sales, or safety consulting (industrial product/training sales preferred).
• Knowledge of LOTO, chemical safety, emergency response and workplace safety.
• Ability to prepare SOPs and technical reports effectively.
• Strong presentation and client communication skills.
• Willing to conduct site visits and field work.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Technical Teams.
• Possession of a valid driving license and own transport is an advantage

Preferred Attributes

• Understanding of local and international safety regulations (DOSH Malaysia, OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Existing network within industrial, manufacturing, or government sectors in Malaysia.
• Experience in OHS, safety consultancy, inspection, audit or industrial safety is an advantage.
