Job summary

Vantris Energy Berhad is seeking a proactive Marine Coordinator to support offshore construction and project operations, ensuring safe, efficient and timely marine activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating vessel operations, mobilization/demobilization, port calls and offshore transfers, along with ensuring compliance with ISM/SOLAS/MARPOL standards. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in marine engineering or related field and at least 6 years of offshore experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a marine-related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of offshore marine, Oil & Gas, EPC or offshore construction experience.
• Practical knowledge of vessel operations, mobilization and marine logistics.
• Familiarity with ISM, ISPS, SOLAS and MARPOL requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel operations, mobilization, demobilization, port calls, crew changes and offshore transfers.
• Support marine spread sourcing and qualification with SCM.
• Coordinate vessel readiness, marine logistics, cargo movements and offshore construction support.
• Monitor vessel utilization, fuel consumption, standby time and operational delays.
• Prepare marine plans, risk assessments, readiness checklists and operational reports.
• Liaise with project teams, vessel operators, marine contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements and QHSE standards.
• Identify and elevate operational risks, schedule constraints and cost impacts.
