Job summary

International SOS seeks an Offshore Doctor to deliver emergency response, primary healthcare, and clinical support at offshore or remote client sites in Sabah. You will ensure patient care quality, operational readiness, and compliance with Clinical Governance standards offshore.

The role requires a Medical Degree, MMC license, and current emergency care certifications. Offshore certifications such as BOSIET, H2S are advantageous. Travel to remote sites is required with offshore allowances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine & Surgery and MMC license.
• Current BLS/ACLS/ITLS certifications.
• Offshore certifications such as BOSIET, H2S advantageous.
• Must be able to work in Sabah and have right to work there.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical response and primary care at offshore sites.
• Assess, stabilize, and manage medical emergencies including evacuation coordination.
• Maintain clinic readiness: equipment, medications, consumables.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and patient records management.
• Operate medical equipment in observation, resuscitation, and examination rooms.
• Participate in drills, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support governance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver professional, high-quality patient care and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams offshore.
