Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad seeks an experienced Occupational Health Doctor to oversee medical health, safety and wellbeing for employees and patients. The role includes A&E coverage, medical examinations, health surveillance and crisis counselling as required.

The incumbent will perform pre-placement examinations, health risk assessments, and provide health education and reports. Relevant OHD certification and full MMC registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Medical Degree or equivalent from recognized institutions.
• Full registration with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Valid OHD certificates from NIOSH or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend and examine all patients in the department.
• Decide on investigations to support diagnosis and refer to consultants as needed.
• Provide treatment, follow-up and emergency care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct occupational health programmes and health education for employees.
