Job summary

KAISON FURNISHING SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting staff to manage daily accounting operations including sales, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations for monthly closings. You will also handle collections, assist in full set of accounts, and prepare management reports with the team.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent, with 1–2 years of relevant experience and strong Excel skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Preferably 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Good proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with prioritisation.
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadline.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operational duties such as sales, receivables, payables, payments verification, bank reconciliations, petty cash and journals for monthly closings.
• Perform daily collections, payments and credit related activities.
• Assist in the full sets of accounts and completing the financial closing tasks within deadlines with the team.
• Assist in the preparation of the management accounts & reports and ensure timely reporting.

Monthly Staff Activities & Birthday Celebration

Perform the daily accounting operational duties such as sales, account receivables, account payables, payments verification, bank reconciliations, petty cash, journals, fixed assets and any reconciliations etc. for monthly closings.

Perform daily collections, payments and credit related activities.

Assist in the full sets of accounts and completing the financial closing tasks within deadlines with the team.

Assist in the preparation of the management accounts & reports and ensure timely reporting.

Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

You are ideal candidate because:

Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

Preferably 1 to 2 years relevant experience. Applicant with lower or no prior relevant experience is possibly considered for Assistant vacancies.

Experience in large scale retail accounts will be an advantage.

Proactive, meticulous, attention to detail, and strong analytical in numbers.

Mature, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Good proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft programs.

Able to manage multiple tasks with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Able to work under pressure and tight deadline and a flexibility to work on weekend/public holiday when required particularly during the Peak Seasons.

Possess the flexibility to outstation when required.

Possess own independent transport for work commuting.

Nice to have:

Past working experience in a fast-paced working environment particularly one requiring monthly reportings and manage multiple deadlines that requiring strong adaptability & task prioritisation.

Higher commitment in career development opportunities including unlocking new challenges together, willing to invest your time & effort to learn & grow together with the company along the career path.

Good interpersonal communication skills with a good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. Candidates fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage as the role may require candidates to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
