Job summary

Rimini Street is looking for an Observability & Governance Engineer to own the observability and audit infrastructure of the Agentic ERP Platform. This role will collaborate closely with security teams and produce compliance evidence required for client audits.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in observability and be proficient in building actionable dashboards and compliance reporting tools. The position requires knowledge of various observability tools and practices in a hybrid work environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of observability, SRE, or platform operations experience.
• Hands-on experience operating distributed tracing and dashboard tooling.
• Proven experience producing compliance evidence for regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dual-stream audit logging architecture.
• Build and maintain operational dashboards covering platform health.
• Produce SOX-grade compliance evidence packages on demand.

Skills

Observability stack: OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch

Log aggregation and trace correlation

Dashboard construction

PostgreSQL for compliance audit storage

Python and/or Go for tooling

Git version control and CI/CD practices

Container and Kubernetes operations

Compliance frameworks: SOC2, ISO27001

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
