Job summary

Spectrum Of Life Sdn Bhd is seeking a Nutritionist passionate about children’s health to join a multidisciplinary team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assess kids, craft family-friendly meal plans, and support gut-brain nutrition protocols with comprehensive training.

Ideal candidates hold a Nutrition/Dietetics degree, registration eligibility with MD A/MOH, and are strong communicators. ADHD experience and a collaborative mindset are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
• Registered with (or eligible to register with) the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association / Ministry of Health.
• Willing to learn and care about children’s health.
• Excellent listening and communication skills; works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one nutrition assessments for children and families with personalised meal plans.
• Support gut-brain nutrition protocols—food sensitivities, blood sugar, sleep, focus and mood.
• Track, chart and monitor client progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Coach parents on lunchboxes, feeding routines and supplements; engage families.
• Collaborate with neurofeedback team, psychologists and therapists to deliver comprehensive care.
• Handle client queries and run parent education workshops.

We are looking for a Nutritionist who lights up at the idea of working with children — the picky eaters, the ones who can’t sit still, the ones whose parents have tried everything. You’ll sit alongside our neurofeedback team and help families fix what’s happening on the plate while we work on what’s happening in the brain.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one nutrition assessments for children and their parents, and build personalised, realistic family meal plans.
• Support gut-brain nutrition protocols— food sensitivities, blood sugar stability, sleep, focus and mood. (Don’t worry — our team provides full training and support!)
• Meticulously track, chart and monitor client progress — diet compliance, behaviour, focus and symptom shifts — and adjust plans accordingly.
• Coach parents through the real-world stuff: fussy eating, lunchboxes, supplements, eating out, and getting the whole family on board.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including neurofeedback trainers, psychologists and therapists, to deliver comprehensive care.
• Handle client queries and support parent education workshops.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or a related field.
• Registered with (or eligible to register with) the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association / Ministry of Health.
• If you don’t have clinical experience yet but you genuinely care about children’s health and are willing to learn, you are welcome to apply as well.
• You’re a great listener, a clear communicator, and a total team player — you’ll be speaking to a lot of worried parents.

1. Have previous experience working with children with ADHD, autism or learning difficulties.
