Job summary
MAHSA University invites applications for Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer or Clinical Instructors in Nursing across Midwifery, Renal, Paediatric, Public Health and Gerontology. The successful candidate will teach, supervise, and contribute to curriculum development while advancing research within the School of Nursing.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Nursing with a Master in Nursing, be registered nurses in Malaysia, and have strong communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- PhD in Nursing or related field is required.
- Master in Nursing or related field is required.
- Registered Nurse with valid professional registration in Malaysia.
- Post Basic qualification in a relevant nursing specialty is an added advantage.
- Relevant teaching, clinical, and/or academic experience in nursing education.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver, and assess teaching and learning materials for nursing subjects according to qualifications and area.
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and improve curriculum, course content, teaching methodologies, and assessment tools.
- Supervise and/or co-supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research proposals, projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Maintain and develop subject matter and clinical expertise, including participation in relevant clinical practice where required.
- Collaborate with academic and clinical staff to ensure effective delivery of teaching and learning activities.
- Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and pastoral support to students, including monitoring attendance and progress.
