Job summary

Keysight in Penang seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead new product introductions and drive manufacturability from prototype to production. You will manage transitions across the lifecycle, coordinating with procurement, planning and contract manufacturers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The role requires 5+ years in project management within a wireless or telecom product manufacturing setting, strong leadership, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Science in Physics, etc).
• 5+ years experience in a Project Management role, especially in wireless or telecommunication product manufacturing environment.
• Strong project leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills, project planning, and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of product life cycle and new product introduction process are crucial in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead or actively participate in new product introduction, including influencing the design of the product to ensure manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain, assessing the reliability of prototypes, and managing the transition into production.
• Supports and implements the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production and/or through the entire life cycle of the product.
• Partners with procurement, planning and other supply chain team to improve/sustain products and processes.
• Manage and work with third party vendors and/or contract manufacturers to meet contract specified deliverables, performance, or business objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure achievement of goals for cost, quality and delivery of parts and materials. May identify and manage ERP data such as bill of material and routing.
• Work with NPI and R&D team to ensure the DFX Scorecard are met before and 18 months after SHP checkpoint, prior to transition into production environment.
• Lead New Product Introduction and product transfer from other locations into Penang.
• May require to integrate newly acquired company into Keysight’s business and manufacturing environment.
• Reduces broad concepts, business strategies into structured project.
• Solves complex, high impact design and development problems.
