Job summary

Camtronics Sdn Bhd is hiring a New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Officer in Kuala Lumpur to support engineering and manufacturing operations. This full-time role focuses on coordinating new product introductions and ensuring on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic/Science Materials, has 1–2 years of relevant experience, and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay. Training will be provided to cover BOM, costing, and production processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Electrical, Electronics or Science Materials.
• 1–2 years in a related field; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Familiarity with BOM, costing, or manufacturing processes; training provided.
• Experience in supply chain, vendor management, or manufacturing coordination is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Understand and study customer drawings to support NPI.
• Generate BOM, routings, options, and prepare costing for new RFQs.
• Coordinate and prepare samples according to specs and ensure timely production.
• Assist in coordinating sample deliveries to warehouse/customers and track status.
• Ensure production follows customer specifications and monitor issues.
• Liaise with Production to deliver orders on requested dates.
• Support customer needs, including technical reviews and cost/performance improvements.
• Liaise with customers about delivery dates and handle pull-in/push-out requests.
• Liaise with supply chain about delivery dates and update Weekly Open Order Report.
• Attend Business Review meetings conducted by customers.
