Job summary

AMD in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a collaborative Engineer to join the Engineering Services team. You will manage master product data, manufacturing specs, and BOM throughout the product life cycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams on NPI samples and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and can work independently or in a team, with experience in materials planning, logistics, and product data management in a semiconductor context.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with material planning, logistics, scheduling, manufacturing bill of materials and documentation control.
• Solid experience working on manufacturing and product requirements from product data management perspective.
• Experience in Product Data Management using AGILE tool or similar tool.

Responsibilities

• Establish samples plan and schedule; track, schedule, and deliver early prototype samples to internal/external customers.
• Be independent and proactive in problem solving to avoid schedule interruptions for NPI samples.
• Liaise with AMD labs and manufacturing sites to ensure execution per plan and mitigate delays.
• Build and support manufacturing specifications and BOM across the product life cycle.
• Manage BOM releases/changes and ensure adherence to master product data requirements.
