ROHDE & SCHWARZ GmbH & Co. KG in Malaysia seeks a manufacturing engineer to develop and optimize PCBA and Final Assembly processes. You will define layouts, line setups, and tooling while collaborating with R&D and Process Engineering to ensure scalable production.

The role focuses on translating requirements into manufacturable solutions, driving Lean improvements, and ensuring a smooth handover to serial production upon ramp-up.

Mansioni

• Develop manufacturing concepts for PCBA and Final Assembly: process flow, layout, line setup, and tooling.
• Translate product requirements into manufacturable production solutions with R&D, Process Engineering and Production.
• Define and validate production processes, tooling, routings, work instructions, and setup data for prototypes and ramp-ups.
• Drive improvements using DFM/DFA, Lean, line balancing, and problem-solving to boost quality, cycle time, and efficiency.
• Track production readiness: risks, deviations, yield, cycle time, and milestone progress.
• Handover to serial production: verify equipment, docs, resources, and readiness before release.
