Job summary
Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced NPI engineer to lead end-to-end program execution from prototype to mass production readiness in Penang. You will coordinate across manufacturing, QA, sourcing, planning, tooling and test teams to meet customer milestones.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3–5 years in NPI or manufacturing engineering in a contract manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years in NPI or Manufacturing Engineering in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of machining, sheet metal, PCBA, and assembly.
- Excellent leadership and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end NPI programs from prototype to mass production.
- Develop and maintain NPI timelines, deliverables, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer milestones.
- Act as primary technical liaison with customers for reviews and changes.
- Review specs, drawings, and BOMs for manufacturability and clarity.
- Drive process development, validation, and documentation.
- Develop PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Identify DFM improvements and drive ECN/ECO.
- Plan engineering builds and coordinate materials readiness and build reports.
- Analyze build issues, lead root-cause investigations, and CAPA.
- Support customer and internal audits and NPI quality reviews.
- Monitor NPI quality metrics and implement improvements.
