AMETECH INDUSTRIES SDN. BHD. in Penang Batu Kawan invites you to join our engineering team as a position focused on design review, process improvement and cross-functional collaboration to drive mass production readiness.

The role emphasizes coordination with customers during quotations, engineering changes, and ISO-compliant documentation, plus cost-reduction initiatives and post-First Article activities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customer during quotation stage to First Article build on the technical requirements.
• Lead and work closely with customer and internal cross functional team to successful deliver the new product until mass production in good quality and on time.
• Review customer drawings, bill of materials, specification, packaging.
• To work closely with inter department on the Engineering Change request from customer until closure.
• Develop work instruction, standard procedure and other related documents that fulfil the ISO requirements.
• Conduct post mortem meeting with cross functional team after First Article build to follow up on and close the open issues before release for mass production.
• Advise cross functional team on rework & repair process with proper routing and material in Job Order.
• Drive cost reduction through engineering improvement activities such as DFM, Lean Manufacturing, kaizen and etc.
• Allad-hoc assignments as and when required by the management from time to time.
