Zusammenfassung

Siemens Energy Malaysia seeks a Non-Destructive Specialist to apply NDT expertise on gas services projects across Asia Pacific, calibrating, inspecting, and maintaining NDT systems on site.

You will work with a regional network of engineers, contribute to regulatory compliance, and support inspection reporting while upholding strong HSE practices and delivering measurable quality improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering or equivalent technical vocational qualification.
• 3–5 years of NDT experience in power services or Oil & Gas with hands-on mechanical maintenance background.
• ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT and PT, and in UT.
• ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in RT or ET.
• Strong skills in documentation interpretation, tooling calibration, quality audits, and ISO 9712 & HSE compliance.

• Perform calibrations and NDT (UT, PT, MT, RT/ET where applicable) and evaluate parts for acceptance or rejection.
• Operate FPI, MPI, ET or UT lines per checklists and work instructions, including cleaning and sorting parts before/after testing.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, upkeep and calibration of NDT systems and equipment.
• Conduct regular NDT area audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and OEM standards.
• Assist engineers with inspection evaluation, documentation and technical reporting.
• Support specialist tasks during maintenance, upholding strong HSE practices on-site and off-site.

As our Non-Destructive Specialist in Malaysia, you'll be part of that team, using your NDT expertise on gas services projects across Asia Pacific. You'll see your work make a visible difference, learn new skills along the way, and be backed by a regional network of experts.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Perform calibrations and NDT (UT, PT, MT, and RT/ET where applicable), and evaluate parts for acceptance or rejection
• Operate FPI, MPI, ET or UT lines per inspection checklists and work instructions, including preparing, cleaning and sorting parts before and after testing
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, upkeep and calibration of NDT systems, tooling and testing equipment to keep them ready for use
• Conduct regular NDT area audits to help ensure compliance with regulatory and OEM standards
• Assist engineers with inspection evaluation, documentation and technical reporting
• Support and guide specialist tasks during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance as part of our regional multiskilling concept, upholding strong HSE practices on-site and off-site

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, or an equivalent technical vocational qualification
• 3–5 years of NDT experience in power services or Oil & Gas, with a hands-on mechanical maintenance background
• ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT and PT, and in UT
