Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Manager to join our Gas Services team in Malaysia, leading large gas turbine, steam turbine, and generator long-term programmes (LTP) as well as open market projects.

You will coordinate execution to meet quality, time and budget targets, serve as the single point of contact for customers, mobilize resources, lead cross-functional teams and manage outages with risk mitigation and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Proven experience in project management for power generation business or rotating equipment.
• Good analytical, decision making and communication skills.
• Working experience in rotating equipment management in Oil and Gas Upstream / Downstream, Petrochemical or Power Generation industry is an advantage.
• Strong passion and proven success in achieving profitable project execution.
• Distinct customer orientation and strong customer interface skills.
• Proficient in MS Office. Experience in using project management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire appropriate resources needed, ensure that these resources are sufficiently provided to the project.

• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to plan, schedule and execute outages, including management of part deliveries, seizing upsell opportunities and implementing risk mitigation measures where required.
• Build and maintain documentation according to our quality management process.
• Build, grow and maintain strong customer relationship.
• Set an example in driving zero harm culture.

How You’ll Make An Impact
