Salt is hiring Senior Software Engineers (Support & Maintenance) in Kuala Lumpur for a night shift, starting at 4pm. You will support and maintain a wide range of internal applications, including legacy systems, and write code mainly in Java and C++.

Jira workflows guide ticketing and upgrades as you learn each system to build mastery. We seek strong Java and C++ skills, a proactive, independent mindset, and a keen ability to prioritise tasks within the team.

Formación

• Strong coding skills in Java and C++.
• Willingness to learn legacy systems and tackle complex troubleshooting challenges.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Independent, proactive and able to prioritise tasks effectively within the team.
• Experience with Jira or ticketing systems would be valuable.
• A stable work history is critical for this role.

Responsabilidades

• Support and maintain a wide range of internal applications including legacy and in-house systems.
• Troubleshoot, fix bugs and implement upgrades while learning each system's framework.
• Write code mainly using Java and C++.
• Follow Jira workflows for ticketing, prioritization, and system updates.
• Continuously learn by supporting and maintaining each system to steadily build mastery.
