iFAST Global Hub.ai is seeking a Software Engineer (Production Support) to join our night-shift backend team in Malaysia. You will work on mission-critical trading systems, ensuring reliability and timely incident resolution.

The role focuses on backend development with exposure to system architecture and domain knowledge. Candidates must be prepared for night shifts to support US-based operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or C# (ASP.NET).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems with a focus on clean, efficient code.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful UAT completion.
• Provide production support for mission-critical trading systems.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in rotational support for critical systems.
• Take part in occasional weekend BCP/DR exercises.
