Job summary

Accenture is seeking an IT Engineer in Malaysia to configure, maintain, and support Cisco routers, switches, SD-WAN, ISE, and security platforms. You will manage incident resolution, perform proactive maintenance, and contribute to automation efforts within a managed services environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise networking, Palo Alto security, Riverbed SteelHead, Opengear, and monitoring tools like LogicMonitor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Networking or related field.
• 3+ years in IT engineering, network or security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise networking, SD-WAN, ISE, Palo Alto security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, SD-WAN, ISE, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and ThousandEyes.
• Administer Cisco SD-WAN environments including vManage, templates, policies, and troubleshooting.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto Networks NGFWs, Panorama, Prisma Access, and GlobalProtect; review policies and IDS/IPS tuning.
• Manage and troubleshoot enterprise routing: BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPNs; Riverbed SteelHead WAN optimisation.
• Monitor with LogicMonitor and other tools; investigate alerts and improve coverage.
• Handle incidents, service requests, escalations, and complex issues across network and security platforms.
