Job summary

Kamlax Global is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support enterprise networking and security environments in Malaysia. The role focuses on Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5 technologies, with hands-on design, implementation, and optimization of critical network services.

You will work with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security, handling routing, switching, VPNs, and application delivery in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4–8 years of hands-on networking experience.
• Strong expertise with Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 BIG‑IP.
• Proven ability to design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and support Cisco routers and switches across enterprise environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewall solutions.
• Configure and maintain F5 BIG‑IP and Local Traffic Manager (LTM) environments.
• Manage routing and switching infrastructure using OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, and HSRP.
• Implement and support LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP networking solutions.
• Configure VPNs, NAT policies, and network security controls.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and service health.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support infrastructure deployment, migration, and modernization projects.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure service continuity.
