Job summary

Menara Maxis is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst (Network) to provide essential financial support for the Network function in Kuala Lumpur. You will partner with network teams, manage Opex/Capex planning, and drive month-end closings with accurate reporting.

The role requires 7+ years in FP&A or related fields, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP/Oracle. Telecommunications or infrastructure exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of FP&A, finance business partnering, or management accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Experience in Opex and Capex planning, monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
• Experience in telecommunications, network, engineering, or infrastructure-related industries is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering for Network: provide actual reporting, guidance, and analysis for LE, AOP, and LRP.
• Opex & Capex Management: monitor Opex/Capex planning and submissions.
• Financial Month-End Closing: manage accruals, depreciation forecasting, Capex & OPEX outlook.
• Cost Optimisation & Efficiency: identify and implement savings opportunities.
• Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis: deliver timely insights for decisions and projects.
