Job summary

Maxis is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst (Network) to provide essential financial support to the Network function, manage budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, and serve as the partner for LE, AOP and Long-Range Planning processes.

You will monitor Opex and Capex, perform month-end closing activities, and deliver actionable insights to help optimise costs and drive financial discipline across the network team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Management Accounting
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, accruals, and financial reporting
• Experience in Opex and Capex planning, monitoring, and variance analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights
• Experience in telecommunications, network, engineering, or infrastructure-related industries is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering for Network: provide actual reporting, guidance, and analysis for LE, AOP, and LRP
• Opex & Capex Management: monitor and submit Network Opex/Capex plans
• Financial Month-End Closing: manage accruals, depreciation forecasting, and Capex/OPEX outlook
• Cost Optimisation & Efficiency: identify and implement saving opportunities
• Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis: deliver timely insights for decisions and special projects
