Job summary

Maxis Broadband Sdn Bhd seeks a Financial Planning Analyst (Network) to provide essential financial support for the Network function, handling day-to-day operations, reporting, and capex/opex planning. You will partner with Network teams to enable data-driven decisions and strategic insights.

The role requires FP&A experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Telecommunications experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years of FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or Management Accounting experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, accruals, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience in Opex and Capex planning, monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SAP/Oracle or other financial systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial data into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated finance partner for the Network function, providing actual reporting, guidance, and analysis for LE, AOP, and LRP.
• Advise on budgeting, LOA, and related financial matters.
• Monitor Network division’s Opex and Capex planning/submissions.
• Conduct month-end closing activities including accruals and depreciation forecasting.
• Identify and implement Opex and Capex saving opportunities.
• Deliver timely financial insights to support decisions and special projects.
