Mettler-Toledo International, Inc in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to install, manage and secure a global enterprise network using Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet and F5. You design cloud networking components and integrate with data centers and on-premise networks.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation and Bicep, and collaborate with international teams to maintain data centers, cloud and on-premise networks.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• At least 2 years hands-on experience in large-scale LAN/WAN/Firewall operations or design, CCNP or Fortinet NSE4 level equivalent.
• Knowledge of Cisco switches/routers, Fortinet Firewalls, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep).
• Willingness to on-call during weekends and travel as needed.

Your responsibilities

• Install, manage and support a global enterprise network infrastructure based on Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, F5 etc. Design, Deploy and configure Cloud Networking components, managing their integration with Datacenters and OnPremise Networks.
• Maintain Data Center, Cloud, and Local network infrastructure for all regions: EU, AM, AP, CN.
• Ensure high level of network security by monitoring security advisories, implementing software updates, performing periodical security audits and closely cooperating with SEC team to comply with enterprise security standards.
• Work on incidents, problems, service and change requests in central ticketing tool (Service Now) according to guidelines and ITIL framework with focus to meet defined SLA targets.
• Maintain and develop monitoring and management tools.
• Coordinate with application operation teams on planning and execution of processes and updates within the area of responsibility.
• Actively propose and implement automations, processes and costs optimizations. Ensure up to date documentation of solutions and changes, KB articles creation and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and configuration for the provisioning and operations of Cloud Networking resources.

What You Need to Succeed

• Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
• At least 2 years hands on experience focused on large scale network LAN/WAN/Firewall operations and/or design. Networking/Security knowledge - equivalent to Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE4.
• Knowledge of: o Cisco product (Catalyst/Nexus Switches, Routers) o Fortinet Firewalls, o Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep.
• Availability to work in on-calls work model (especially during weekends) and business travels that might happen (once per 3 months).

Soft skills required

• Ability to independently analyze and resolve incidents and drive for pragmatic solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in international and cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility, reliability and showing initiative.

Nice to have

• Azure Networking Components and Terraform Associate level knowledge - certifications preferred.
• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep.
• Meraki Switching and Wireless products.
• Other Fortinet security products - i.e. EMS, FortiWAF.
• F5 load-balancers.
• Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime and/or SolarWinds.
• Network monitoring tools deployment, i.e.: Grafana/Telegraf.
