Job summary

SolveIT Consultant is seeking an experienced Network DC Specialist to manage and support enterprise network infrastructure, data centre connectivity, and security in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years in Routing & Switching, expert Cisco Catalyst/Nexus skills, and 4+ years in Wireless with VMware NSX/DFW expertise. Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Routing & Switching experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus.
• 4+ years of hands-on Wireless experience.
• 5+ years with VMware NSX/DFW/Firewall.
• Knowledge of DNS and SD-WAN exposure.
• Hands-on deployment in Routing & Switching and Nexus.
• Fair knowledge of Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Routing & Switching environments (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus).
• Support data centre networking for high availability and performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot Wireless infrastructure.
• Manage VMware NSX/DFW/Firewall environments.
• Support network security with Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support DNS and provide SD-WAN concepts.
• Participate in network migration and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain network documentation and standards.

We are looking for an experienced Network DC Specialist to manage, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure, data centre connectivity, and network security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Routing & Switching environments, including Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
• Support data centre networking and ensure high availability and network performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise Wireless infrastructure.
• Manage and support VMware NSX, DFW, and Firewall environments.
• Support network security integration with Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support DNS services and provide conceptual-level understanding of SD-WAN.
• Participate in network migration, deployment, implementation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and operational standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Routing & Switching.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Wireless experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with VMware NSX / DFW / Firewall.
• Knowledge of DNS and conceptual exposure to SD-WAN.
• Hands-on deployment and implementation experience in Routing & Switching and Nexus.
• Fair knowledge of Firewalls and Load Balancers.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
