Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Murex Test Manager to define testing strategy and oversee SIT, UAT, and regression phases. You will create test templates, coordinate with Front Office, Back Office, ERM, and Interfaces streams, and drive defect closure across the project lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on test execution leadership, independent work style, and collaboration with PMs, IT teams, and business analysts to ensure timely, quality releases.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of relevant Test Management experience for Murex.
• Knowledge of financial market products and lifecycle.
• Experience with Murex setup and functional tests using modules.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience collaborating with tech leads, PMs, and BAs across IT and business.
• Experience executing tests throughout development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Define testing strategy and framework for high QA standards.
• Plan and manage SIT, UAT, and Regression testing phases.
• Prepare test cases, data, cycles, and reports templates.
• Develop test artifacts from design documents with SMEs.
• Track progress, defects, and delivery through SIT/UAT cycles.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders for successful sign-off.

Job description

• DXC-Luxoft has one of the world's leading Murex practices. We are a top-tier Murex Alliance Partner and a market leader in implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration. We provide end-to end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset-classes and sectors, including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Define the testing strategy and framework to ensure a high standard of testing and quality assurance is in place
• Plan and manage various phases of testing (SIT, UAT & Regression)
• Manage the test case preparation, test data preparation, test cycles
• Create test case template, test execution status reports template, and defects reports template (consolidated report from CRM and JIRA extracts).
• Work with business and technical SME(s) for each stream like Front Office, Back Office, ERM, Interfaces etc. for detailed test case development as per the design documents.
• Perform test execution progress and Issues (Daily, Weekly) during the test execution phase and track defect fixes and delivery, and deployment, and drive quality closure of defects
• Co-ordinate with Bank's Project Manager, Murex Project Manager, IT team, and entire project team for successful completion and sign-off of SIT and UAT

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 9+ years of relevant Test Management experience for Murex
• Knowledge on financial market products and their lifecycle
• Experience on Murex setup and functional tests using various modules of Murex is desirable
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in working direct with Technical leads, project managers, and Business Analysts in business and IT organizations
• Experience of the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects
