Job summary

• 6–9 years of Murex Testing/Quality Assurance in Banking or Capital Markets.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases.
• Good working knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java.
• Experience in AIX, Solaris, or Open Systems environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills.

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. Responsibilities

• Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing for Murex applications.
• Prepare testing effort estimations for Murex implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities for CAB releases, production deployments, and implementation projects.
• Design, prepare, execute, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation activities.
• Validate application functionality following releases, upgrades, and production deployments.
• Perform defect identification, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and coordinate issue resolution with development teams.
• Collaborate with Development, Business, Infrastructure, and Project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support production issue investigations related to Murex releases and implementations.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, release documentation, and quality metrics.

Skills

• Must have 6-9 years of experience in Murex Testing / Quality Assurance within Banking or Capital Markets.
