Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a testing consultant to join a newly established Kuala Lumpur technology centre delivering financial technology solutions for a leading bank. You will define testing strategies for ONYX, drive automation using Murex MXTest, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across MX3 workflows and related interfaces.

The role requires hands-on MXTest automation, strong SQL/XML/Unix scripting skills, and experience with trade repository and MX3 asset classes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in test automation and financial tech environments.
• Hands-on Murex MXTest (Onyx) workflow automation across asset classes.
• Experience importing workflows from external systems into Murex and scripting automation.
• Automation testing for MX.3 interfaces, datamart, and related components.
• Knowledge of MX3.1 trade structure, rules, and validations.
• SQL (Oracle/Sybase), XML, Unix commands, and scripting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end testing strategy for ONYX; establish quality gates.
• Coordinate with automation team for planning, scripting, and execution.
• Lead test progress meetings; manage defect triage with stakeholders.
• Plan runbooks for testing phases, mock runs, and production implementations.
• Report progress and issues; provide metrics for leadership.
• Collaborate with IT/infrastructure teams to deliver testing solutions.
• Serve as focal point for business testing needs and expectations.
