Murex Test Manager

Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a seasoned Test Manager with extensive Murex experience to lead testing strategy and rollout across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles in Malaysia. You will manage test data, case development, and consolidated defect reporting from CRM and JIRA, coordinating with Front/Back Office, ERM, and interface teams.

The role requires independent work, strong communication, and deep financial domain knowledge, including migration projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant Test Management experience for Murex.
• Knowledge of financial market products and their lifecycle.
• Experience with Murex setup and functional tests using modules.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience working with technical leads, project managers, and business analysts.
• Experience in executing tests throughout development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; Murex Migration project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the testing strategy and framework to ensure a high standard of testing and quality assurance is in place.
• Plan and manage various phases of testing (SIT, UAT & Regression).
• Manage the test case preparation, test data preparation, test cycles.
• Create test case templates, test execution status reports templates, and defects reports templates (consolidated report from CRM and JIRA extracts).
• Work with business and technical SME(s) for each stream like Front Office, Back Office, ERM, Interfaces etc. for detailed test case development as per the design documents.
• Perform test execution progress and issues (Daily, Weekly) during the test execution phase and track defect fixes and delivery, and deployment, and drive quality closure of defects.
• Co-ordinate with Bank's Project Manager, Murex Project Manager, IT team, and entire project team for successful completion and sign-off of SIT and UAT.

• Experience of the execution of tests throughout the lifecycle of development projects
• Excellent communication, inter-personal skills, and problem-solving skills It would be important to have Murex Migration project experience
